Zylex is the traditional slaters felt that complies with British Standards and is still a favourite with roofers despite the more modern products for waterproofing now available on the market. It is manufactured specifically for use as an underslating beneath tiles in open rafter construction. Zylex has a felt fibre base combined with a layer of open weave hessian, a bitumen coating and surfaced with sand.

Web Dynamics UV breather membranes are energy saving roofing underlays. They are manufactured by thermally bonding two spunbonded polypropylene fabric layers with a microporous film sandwiched in between. This process produces a breathable, waterproof membrane. UV15: Professional Grade (135gms/m²)
