A Solar Photovoltaic system, or Solar PV as it is commonly known, is a ‘renewable’ technology, which uses modules, typically installed onto a properties roof, to convert energy from the sun into electricity, which can be used domestically to reduce energy bills.

The Government’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) will also pay for each kWh produced, as an incentive for people to switch to renewable technologies in the home, helping the UK to lessen its carbon footprint and meet the 2020 emissions target.
