Supporting Hands-On Learning at George Street Primary School

At Robert Price, we’re always pleased to support projects that make a positive difference within our local communities. That’s why we were delighted to donate spare timber to George Street Primary School in Pontypool as part of its exciting new woodwork area for pupils.

The school is creating a dedicated space where children can explore practical skills, develop their creativity and enjoy hands-on learning experiences. Woodworking activities provide a fantastic opportunity for pupils to build confidence, solve problems and gain valuable skills in a fun and engaging environment.

To help bring the project to life, we supplied spare timber that can be used for a variety of woodworking activities and projects. The support didn’t stop there either, with Toolbank generously donating a toolkit packed with tools and equipment to help equip the new workspace.

We hope the new woodwork area becomes a valuable resource for the school and a place where children can learn, create and grow for years to come.

We’d like to thank George Street Primary School for giving us the opportunity to be involved in this fantastic initiative, and Toolbank for their generous contribution to the project.
