Key responsibilities
- General warehouse duties and stock management.
- Picking orders, loading and unloading and related paperwork.
- Customer service – dealing with customers in person.
- Driving forklift.
- The role offers scope to develop selling skills, customer service and an understanding of materials, stock control, orders and deliveries.

Essential skills & experience
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
- GCSE Maths (minimum grade C or a good understanding of metric and imperial measurements and basic mental arithmetic).
- Good paperwork skills.
- Confident communicator.
- Proven teamwork skills.
- Naturally tidy and organised.
- Willingness to engage with customers and provide good customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised once trained.
- Reliable, industrious, adaptable and quick to grasp new concepts.
- Manual handling up to 25kg.
Desirable skills & experience
- Knowledge of roofing materials and their usage, an interest in the construction industry and good numeracy.
- Good arithmetic, preferably GCSE Maths grade C.
